This large octagonal building was built in the 1920s and was possibly used as a sale yard for stud horses or cattle. It is constructed with a timber frame, clad in weatherboard to door height, and then with corrugated iron. The space is lit by a clerestory, which rises above nearby buildings to form an impressive landmark along Luddenham Road.
