Dr Thomas Willmott died on 15 October 1871 aged 55 years. He practiced in London for fourteen years before arriving in Australia in 1832. He was surgeon from Penrith. It is a sandstone headstone and footstone on a sandstone kerb, with a cast iron and wrought iron fence. The headstone is inscribed with a description of Dr Willmott's professional career. The footstone is of a different design and workmanship to the headstone.
