The recently completed rail bridge was tested with six of the heaviest locomotives, fully loaded and weighing 650 tons. Railway officers and locomotive staff are pictured withe locomotives. John Matthew Breeze has been identified as being the man standing on the left locomotive,
far right. Joseph Jenkins has been identified as the man on the far right of the right locomotive. He would later become Mayor of Penrith.
