A tour group visits the dining room, which has stencilled walls and ceiling depicting types of food. The man on the far left is Fred Grono who owned Glenleigh at this time. Glenleigh was built as a country residence for shipping merchant, businessman and philanthropist, James Ewan and his wife, between 1887 and 1889. The site occupies a prominent position overlooking the Nepean Valley.
