St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church was started in 1839 and took 11 years to build. The building included a Spanish mission belfry, cedar ceilings and stained glass memorial windows. The church was demolished in April 1966 to make way for the new St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church.
