Sidney Wallace Williams, St Marys

Sidney Wallace Egbert Williams, pictured here outside his butcher's shop in St Marys, was born in 1872 to Joseph and Amelia Williams. He grew up on the family farm at South Creek. He married Ann Holden in 1903. Following the death of his first wife around 1909, he married Annie Colless in July 1910. The family moved to Lithgow before 1920 and he died there in 1946. It is presumed that the family may have been living at Tottenham Park as indicated by the sign in the photograph. The young boy may possibly be Sidney J Williams, Sidney's son.
