Kingswood Post Office began as a receiving office for mail at the railway station . In 1894 it was relocated to Mr Apps store located on the south eastern corner of the Great Western Highway and Bringelly Road. It closed in 1963. A new office was opened on Saturday 24 1965 with Mrs M Longmore as Postmistress, located in the shopping precinct. A new post office was opened on the corner of Bringelly Road and Orth Street in October 1990.
