It was thought by many that the action of the Committee of the Luddenham Agricultural Society in holding their show this year was a mistake, especially considering that our farmers and orchardists have had such a " terrible doing" with the recent dry weather. However, it appears after all that the dogged determination of that energetic committee will prove by results that they acted wisely.
