St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church was started in 1839 and took 11 years to build. The building included a Spanish mission belfry, cedar ceilings and stained glass memorial windows. The church was demolished in April 1966 to make way for the new St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church. The children, Carolyn, Stephanie and Julie Hardy are stood at the rear of the church.
