Royal Australian Historical Society, New South Wales monuments and memorials questionnaire. Questionnaire contains details of an inscription carved into stone and on a plaque at the ambulance station located on the Great Western Highway in Penrith.
Inscription in stone reads: This foundation was unveiled by Ald. J Jenkins chairman of the Nepean Ambulance Committee on Nov 28th 1936. The site for this ambulance station was donated by F C Jones esq Ravenspur, Penrith.
Inscription on the brass plaque reads: This building was officially opened by the Hon. A H Jago MLA Minister for Health on the 24th October 1970.
