The second and final examination of the above corps took place on Saturday evening last, 18th inst. at the Temperance Hall. At a signal from the doctor, the class commenced work at once in their humane efforts to restore the apparently drowned, making stretchers for their conveyance, also first means for arresting hemorrhage from arterial and venous bleeding, bandaging the wounded, which were done in a precise and exact manner.
