The finding of three stone Aboriginal implements at north St Marys has thrown new light on Aboriginal settlement in the district. The implements have been identified by Rex Gilroy of Mt York natural History Museum as dating from the Eastern Regional Sequence, and of the Elouera phase of stone implements.
