John Cram Place was erected as the CBC Bank in 1879 and purchased in 1939 by Mr Cram and later by Penrith City Council in 1980. It is the only Victorian building within the commercial precinct in High Street. The building has been used as offices for architects, housed John Cram & Son solicitor, florist and real estate agent.
