School excursion to Emu Hall. Emu Hall was built between 1851-1854 for Toby Ryan, publican, auctioneer and parliamentarian. The house is set on a rise overlooking the Nepean River and the site is banded by the former punt crossing and the 1867 alignment of the Great Western Highway.
