Slab hut that was located on Kendall Street, Penrith. It was demolished and McDonalds now occupies the site. Settlers homes were made of slabs of timber. A single room was built first for shelter and later on a more commodious place was built in front. The two ere then joined by a covered way, with the one at the rear becoming a kitchen.
