The Blue Mountains Blue Wave Bicentenary Re-enactment Crossing of the Blue Mountains in May 2013 will be a 21 day event to retrace the steps of Gregory Blaxland, William Lawson and William Charles Wentworth. This will be done as close as practicable to the original route, in the same time frame, and with the similar equipment as the original crossing. The party will consist of 7 persons, 3 persons representing Blaxland, Lawson & Wentworth, 3 convicts and 1 kangaroo hunter. They will be accompanied by 4 horses & 5 dogs. The flyover will consist of up to 200 aircraft, RAAF, Navy, Army, Historic, Emergency services and Private. Basic route is to follow the Explorers path, tracking over the 7 sites
