General notes:
Selina Courtenay Puckey (1899-1990) was a doctor who attended Wollongong High School, receiving honors in Mathematics and studied Medicine at University of Sydney. She worked at Renwick Hospital for Infants, Summer Hill, bought a property at 10 River Road Emu Plains, practised as a doctor in New Guinea for 15 years, returning in 1941 to work for 21 years at Renwick Hospital for Infants. She met her husband William Marshall when she was in New Guinea. Her son, William, was a paediatrician at St Thomas Hospital, London. Selina retired in 1963 and lived in Blackheath. She died on 19 June 1990 at 91 years of age and was cremated.
