Lewers Bequest and Penrith Regional Art Gallery. The property was purchased in the 1940's by artists Margo & Gerald Lewers, who then created the large garden. The property includes an early twentieth century farmhouse, and another house designed by Sydney Ancher in 1960. The gallery was bequeathed to Penrith City Council by Margo and Gerald's daughter. The gallery was opened in 1981. It is believed that prior to the Lewers purchasing the property it was a pig farm.
