The Development Application for the Australian Arms Hotel has been approved by Penrith City Council with a deferred commencement date pending further documents being approved, including a heritage strategy and environmental measure. The plans will see the car park, beer garden, and playground at the rear of the site demolished to add a seven-storey hotel without compromising the original heritage-listed building.
