The Nepean River Green Bridge or the Yandhai Nepean Crossing is the new pedestrian and cyclist bridge spanning the Nepean River between Penrith and Emu Plains. This paper focuses on the required survey work, which was high-precision, which involves rotating survey control and bridge design values about different x, y & z coordinates due to the bridge initially being constructed at 90 degrees and it necessitated surveying, thinking and analysing in three dimensions.
