Published biographical information on Reverend Robert Cartwright. He arrived in the colony with his wife and six children in 1809 onboard the convict transport Anne. He was appointed as the Chaplain to the Hawkesbury District. Soon after his arrival he was given a grant of six hundred acres of land, but was obliged to see for 200 pounds. Sir John Jamison acquired this land on which he erected Regentville.
