Published biographical information on William Neate Chapman, born 13 May 1774 in London, England.  He sailed to Australia in 1791 with Lieutenant-Governor King. In 1804, Chapman was given a land grant, which he named Lambridge Farm, located on the Nepean River. A month after being given the grant, he was given leave and returned to England.  He never returned to Australia and died in Java in 1837.
