John Osborne's play titled "The Entertainer'' with four performers on stage

Archives
The play “The Entertainer’’ by John Osborne was first produced in 1957. In the play, Osborne’s hero is Archie Rice, an aging music-hall veteran struggling as a performer whose domestic life is as much a failure as his comedy act. The Q Theatre, located at the old Railway Institute Building in Penrith, performed this play in September and October 1977. This photograph shows performers Linden Wilkinson, Leo Taylor, Ron Hackett and Vola Vandere on stage.
