The purpose of carrying out algal growth potential experiments on water samples is to assess the potential of that body of water to support algal growth under standard conditions of light and temperature. In order to efficiently and safely develop the proposed Penrith Lakes recreational site, water management strategies must be implemented in order to maintain high water quality of the lakes.
