Articles that have been updated since their appearance in print are date-stamped in the upper right corner of the screen. The site offers an Advanced Search option containing - Full text articles - Biographies - Bibliographies - Web Links for related information - Contibutors details - Works Lists for works of music. Another option is the Browse Search feature - which allows users to search Articles listed A-Z alphabetically - Abbreviations listed A-Z alphabetically - Contributors listed A-Z alphabetically - or by searching an Index listed A-Z alphabetically. Special features allow users to actually listen to Grove Music Online - or access over 500 Sibelius musical examples - or access a special music feature interview about Music censorship in Afganistan with John Baily or a discussion online about Ken Burns Jazz music with Scott DeVeaux and Krin Gabbard.
