This report presents data describing the temporal and spatial distribution of the phytoplankton community and examines the factors influencing the development of algal blooms in the river between Maldon Weir and Wisemans Ferry from July 1991 to June 1992, with the emphasis of the blue-green algal blooms occurring between November and December of 1991.
