Protest Against Library Rate - Wallacia Progress Association

Articles
The Association considers that as the Library is situated in Penrith, the rate is unjust, because there is very little opportunity for residents of this district to use the Library in Penrith. This was the content of a letter from the secretary of the Wallacia Progress Association, protesting against the striking of the Library rate over the whole municipality. The letter was received at the meeting of Penrith Council on Thursday evening.
