Two UWS students received honours during the recent 2002 National Council of Women Australia Day Awards - These awards are given to women of achievement who are undertaking tertiary studies or research in their senior education years - NSW Governor and National Council of Women Patron Marie Bashir said she was proud of the council's continuing efforts to encourage women toward achievements and excellence in their educational endeavors.
