An obituary for David Fitch who died at the age of 73 years. Mr and Mrs Fitch entered the employment of the late William Colless of Castlereagh, 53 years ago, then he was employed by John Jackson of Castlereagh for some time. Leaving there 47 years ago he came to live with George Colless until Colless died and Mrs Phoebe Colless gave up farming 30 years ago. Leaving Mrs Colless he went with Andrew Turnbull and joined the railway, now 24 years ago, and he remained there until his retirement 6 years ago. He leaves a widow, three sons and two daughters. His son David is Mayor of Narromine. He was buried in Emu Plains Cemetery.
