Account of a surprise party and presentation given to Mr and Mrs Patrick Smith who are about to remove to Sydney. Given in Thornton Hall, the residence of Mrs Thomas Smith, about one hundred people of the Presbyterian Church attended. This article recognises the work of Mr & Mrs Smith in the congregation and in the Sunday School, and records the words of an illuminated address with its signatories. The rendering of musical items concluded the evening.
