TAFE to take off in big way. By Richard Bryce

Penrith TAFE could go up, out or even inward from this year as college staff prepare to launch a multi-million expansion of the existing Henry Street college. There has been a third floor and changes to courses proposed as the college aims to provide another 2000 places in Penrith. The daunting job of building new classrooms on an already crowded campus is a welcome one for TAFE principal Bob Frew who, two months earlier was still fighting for the college's very existence after the previous govrnment proposed to sell the site.
