Before Single, Shand, Lethbridge and Duncan. Bernard Riley charged with being drunk. Ellen Ausburn, W Webb, George Drummond, James Millen, Elizabeth Glasscock, George Besley, W Shelberg, James Sweeny, William Heard, Arthur Chisholm, Reuben Gow, John Kenny and Mary Ann Crothers fined for allowing animals to stray on the street. Robert Kirk and Frederick Vine charged for driving vehicles without lights. William Lennox charged with having erected a fence without permission. Joseph Edward Cross summoned Richard Holmes and vice versa for assault. Both cases dismissed. Belinda Vickery v Henry Haigh for assault. This case was peculiar, and caused considerable amusement to those present in court.
