Account of fortnightly meeting. Incoming correspondence from Inverell Council Clerk re support for a resolution to the Minister for Public Works regulating the width of tires on waggons, drays, trollies and other vehicles used for the transport of heavy loading; from the Park Committee re non-renewing of grazing rights, the removing of inside fences guarding trees from stock, and the laying on of water; from Works Committee re state of bridges, drains and roads; from Water Committee re waste of water; from Inspector of Nuisances re the registering of two slaughter houses. A deputation representing rate payers' concerns re the increase in lighting rates prompted much discussion.
