William Moran was committed to Parramatta Quarter Sessions for stabbing Edward Gannon, who has returned from the Infirmary, but is scarcely out of danger. Everett Summons (cordial manufacturer here for many years) was summoned by his wife for maintenance. A warrant was issued. Henry Hill alias Bank was fined for being drunk. Thomas Erwin was fined for indecent language. George Jordan was fined for obscenity. A butcher's licence was granted to John Wright of Rooty Hill. A transfer of licence from Mrs Upton (formerly Nelan) was granted to her husband, Albert Upton. The Bench hoped that the House would now be carried on in a better style.
