Charges heard included drunkenness - Henry Hill, alias Banks, John Mcdonald, Samuel Murphy, John Williams and charles Brooks. Indecent language - Thomas Irwin, George Jordan and John Conley. Obscene language - Elizabeth Barker was charged with using obscene language to her daughter and fined - the daughter paid the fine. James Rope and Thomas Scholes, Johanna Jordan, Charles Brooks and James Wallace were also charged with obscene language. Andrew Heaney was convicted of cruelty, ill-treating a horse and allowing pigs to strat. Albert Upton was charged with allowing dice to be used in the bar of his public house.
