Before J K Lethbridge, J S Smith, J D Single, J McCarthy, J K Cleeve. Bunnington was charged with drunkenness and larceny. He claimed he had been drinking for 3 weeks and did not know what he was about. William Carroll, of Emu, John Roach, and Edward Hogan were each charged with drunkenness and obscene language. Andrew Heaney was also charged. William Coffey was charged with riding on the footpath in High Street. James Kennedy gave evidence that he saw Coffey but did not know it was a footpath. Bridge Duffy and Horace Watson, Archibald McLachlan, Donald Beatson, were all charged with breaches of the Publicans' Act. Small Debts Court heard w cases - Donnelly v Ward and Parker v Griffiths.
