Before Riley, Gibbons and Cleeve. Charges of riotous conduct were heard against Robert Curry of Rooty Hill whilst he was under the influence of drink. This incident occurred at the opening of the Presbyterian Church at St Marys. He was found gulity and fined 2 pounds or 7 days. James Barbour was summoned by John Compton for assault, following a dispute about a quantity of cut wood. Found guilty and fined 1s. Willliam Cusack was discharged after being charged for drunkenness and John Conley was remanded for disobedience of a summons. Finally, an auctioneer's licence was granted to Alderman Dempsey.
