William Hadley, Thomas Pierce, John O'Brien, Alfred Miller, Patrick Reddan, were all charged with drunkenness, admonished and discharged. Patrick Walker was charged with using profane language, but was discharged because he had already been locked up for 4 days before the hearing. John O'Brien of South Creek was charged with having assaulted Constable McGarvie. He was fined 10s. William Carpenter and several other young men were caught shooting on the Nepean on Sunday, a Sabbath desecration, for which they were summoned. A hawker's licence was granted to James Noonan.
