Community safety programs were given extra funding in the draft 2003-04 Penrith Council budget - Just over $250,000 has been allocated in addition to general revenue expenditure for the Community Safety & Neighbourhood Renewal Program in the next financial year - The aim of the program was to make all public space in the Penrith Council area attractive & safe for people to use.
