We are pleased to hear that W Noble, junr., son of W Noble, teacher of the Luddenham Public School (known to many of our readers as 'Meteor' ), has recently been appointed to a good position in the first Regiment of the New South Wales Permanent Artillery at Victoria Barracks, Paddington. Mr Noble is a young man of splendid physique, and should, we think, quickly raise himself to a good position in military circles.
