Don Bosco Youth Centre & Penrith Council are working together to find alternative funding for their service after the city announced plans to phase out it's contribution - The centre which has received recurrent funding from the council for more than five years, has applied for a grant from the Federal Family & Community Service's Department but no money is available - Between 1000 to 2000 young people use the centre each week including school based sporting activity groups, disability groups, community groups & individual young people, it also provides activites during school holidays
