Key features of the Draft 2004-2005 Management Plan - Council wants to maintain its existing provision of services to the community, increase maintence of the City's assets, help create a healthier environment for everyone, ensure equal attention is paid to the older and newer areas of the City, stimulate local job growth and achieve a City of which we can be proud - To work towards these aims in 2004-05, Council proposes to provide its 60 existing serivces and to allocate funding (including State and Federal Government grants and developer contributions) of: Three major initiatives that Council commenced in 2002 will continue, with expenditure in 2004-05 expected to be: 1.$1.8 million for Enhanced Environmental Management and Repair (including a range of catchment management works, conservation initiatives and education programs) - 2.$584,000 for Community Safety Development and Neighbourhood Renewal - 3.$235,000 to support Economic Development and Job Growth.
