Penrith Chamber of Commerce has warned people sending cheques in the post to be vigilant, after a recent fraud in which a chemical was used to dissolve ink - At the last chamber meeting, it was revealed that a local business owner had posted a $1138.50 cheque to a supplier - A bank statement later showed the same cheque number appearing as a cash cheque for $4138.50.
