This segment of St Marys News reports on locals not residing in the district at the moment - Mr and Mrs Bede Waring have left St Marys and gone to reside at Forest Lodge. Mr E Wright, son of the late John Wright, and brother of Mrs Waring, has returned to duty at Melbourne where he is employed in a tannery owned by Alf Hackett, an old St Marys boy. James M Sainsbury, who is on relieving duty, is at present at Molong. He sang in St John's Church at that place, and this is what the 'Molong Express' said of him - 'There was a good congregation, as an announcement had been made that Mr J Sainsbury would sing. Mr Sainsbury was in fine voice, and gave a most finished interpretation of the beautiful solo, 'Star of Bethlehem'. The general opinion was that it was far and away the finest exhibition of male vocalisation heard in Molong for many years'.
