The large waggon built at G T Bennett's shop, described in last issue (15th July) was sent away by rail to Mudgee. The weight of the waggon is 2 tons, 10 cwt, and on arrival at the station, the largest railway carriage truck procurable, was brought into use. Even then the wheels were protruding at each end, which necessitated a trailer being placed at each end. It is considered the largest piece of work yet turned out here, and yet its light running was proved by the fact that one horse was sufficient to draw it from the shop to the station.
