A determined trio have achieved success against the odds in the testing sport of triathlon - Sarah-Jane Horne, 13, is an accomplished swimmer and her friend Andrea Keenawinna, 14, is a good runner - Both girls train with clubs outside their school Caroline Chisholm College at Glenmore park - But third friend Emily Crane did not even own a bike before she volunteered to join her friends and do the bike leg of the triathlon - The girls were leading after Sarah-Jane completed the 1km swim leg, but Emily managed to hang on to third place in the 16km ride and Andrea brought them in winners after the 4km run - Photo.
