The forgotten suburb : Londonderry - Lorna Parr

Articles
Londonderry is the suburb on the northern boundary of Penrith Council area - It is a rural suburb, which until recently had only a scattered population - It was named for the property of 30 acres granted to Thomas Kendall in 1832, which he called Londonderry - This scattered community had no village or facilities when in the 1880's a developer bought a large area & designed streets & building blocks - However nothing sold so the streets gradually reverted back to bush - Today that area is a paper town, the streets are still found in council records but nowhere else.
