Development of the former Australian Defence Industries site at St Marys has been given the green light by the State Government, opening the way for 8000 new homes, businesses, schools and park land - The $2 bilion plan, potentially the biggest private urban development in Australia's history, has had 40 per cent of the 1545ha site earmarked for a regional park, to be managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service - The park will be four times the size of Centennial Park and seven times the size of Parramatta Park - Photo.
