Lion Farm at Warragamba

Articles
An area of bushland not far from Warragamba Dam is the site selected as Australia's first game reserve for lions. Wollondilly Shire approved the site in principle, subject to further details being submitted. The lion farm, as well as the Warragamba Dam project, would enable tourist and visitors to see two entirely different attractions during a days visit. The reserve is in Sarina Park, near Silverdale, and will have approximately 50 lions roaming free on about 130 acres. About 20 people will be employed on the project.
