Richard Reid and Joseph Brown charged in Police Court. Frederick Besley celebrated his golden wedding in England. George Evans charged at Parramatta, sentenced to 3 years. Mr Leggo fined for not attending jury duty, R Heaton and Isaac Smith excused. The local Land Board approved 13 conditonal purchases in connection with the reserve at Castlereagh. Alderman Judges re-elected Mayor for the 4th time. W Parkes' horse died in a suspicious manner. New road needed beyond Belmore Park. New Wesleyan Church at St Marys to be opened. Licensing Court - special licence granted to W S Monfries and summons against Alex Blackett withdrawn. Mr Liddington aged 94 years visited the Luddenham Show. Presybterian Sunday School of St Marys held a picnic at Parramatta Park.
